Project management

Preparation of technical specifications, RFIs AND ITTs

We have a vast amount of experience in preparing Technical Specifications, RFIs (Request For Information) and ITTs (Invitation To Tender). These can either be in our copyrighted format or tailored to meet your organisations particular requirements. We were one of the first Consultancies to procure a major Voice system for a prestigious City Council using the “Competitive Dialogue” process as part of the OJEU procurement.

We can carry out audits of your systems and networks to fully document what hardware and software exists, show spare equipment etc.

Switch and network (fixed & virtual) configuration and design

If you are upgrading or replacing your existing systems and networks, opening or closing sites, we can help by designing and configuring the systems and networks for you. We can Project Manage and/or liaise with suppliers to ensure smooth and effective solutions are achieved.

Tender/requests for information, evaluation

Our normal copyrighted format includes structured response fields to enable like for like analysis and a full audit trail of the different offerings. We will carry out a technical and cost analysis of the responses, check references, set up supplier presentations and provide concise final recommendations. 

Capacity analysis & call-logging

Whilst an audit is essential to understand what currently exists as far as systems and networks, how those systems and networks are utilised is probably more important.

Whether you want to identify under or un-used extensions, too many, or shortage of exchange lines, Call logging will identify the problem areas. Together with a technical audit a full "Health Check" of your systems and networks will be carried out.

By using Call-logging, current levels of telephone traffic can be established. Using this information, problem areas can be identified and current capacity increased or decreased as appropriate.

Current levels of traffic are used as a base for forecasting future growth and equipment/network requirements.

Short, medium & long term strategy development

One of the most difficult area some of our clients have is to develop strategy, whether it be long or short term. We can help by inputting our wealth of knowledge, skills and experiences our other clients have had.
